#NetcommForum2018, discover the secrets of e-commerce with VMEngine

At VMEngine everything is ready for #NetcommForum2018, the most important Italian event in the field of e-commerce, digital retail and digital transformation. On 30 and 31 May, MiCo – Milano Congressi will see the participation of companies and industry professionals with 3 plenaries, 84 thematic workshops, 184 exhibitors and over 170 expert speakers from the digital world.

Among the experts of the digital world there will also be us at VMEngine with an interesting workshop entitled “The Amazon Web Services Cloud: The engine that empowers e-commerce”.

But the news is that at our side there will be the giant of the Cloud: Amazon Web Service. Fabio Cecaro, CEO & Founder of VMEngine, together with Oreste DiMaggio, Partner Solution Architect at Amazon Web Services, will explain why Cloud Computing is a winning business model and the engine of innovation for a successful e-shop.

As a demonstration of how the pay-as-you-go business model fits perfectly with the seasonality of online sales, there are various success stories that we will briefly mention here but that we will show you in detail on the Netcomm stage. We are talking about two companies that have made e-commerce the key to their success: FiloBlu and CaldaieMurali.it.

 

 


FiloBlu
founded in 2009 by Christian Nucibella, FiloBlu is a fast-growing company specialising in the implementation of digital strategies for the development and internationalisation of online business and the enhancement of brand equity.

Thanks to its specialist and technologically advanced skills, FiloBlu is able to offer strategic advice and comprehensive support to accompany companies on a digital transformation journey to conquer new market shares.

Well, with 100,000 orders processed and a turnover of 95% generated by e-commerce activity, CaldaieMurali.it confirms itself as the undisputed leader in the sector. As a result, it has grown from a small, family-run business into one of the largest online sellers of plumbing and heating products on a national scale.

These are not cold success stories light years away from reality but are stories of people who believed in the potential of the web and understood, perhaps before others, that the key to online success is Cloud Computing. Reliability, Scalability, Security (GDPR), Geography Distribution, Business Analytics, Machine Learning are just some of the features and functionalities that Amazon Web Services provides for the development and perfect functioning of an e-commerce.
